For more than 25 years I’ve been involved in writing business content for websites, intranets and publications.
In 2019, I completed my first novel, The Purple Bike, set in the United Kingdom in the 1980s and 1990s.
Its premise dates back to a school assignment in the mid 1980s, when I had to “interview an adult with an interesting job”. My subject was a young policeman, whose retelling of his very first case inspired me to write The Purple Bike.
I was born and raised in Cornwall, UK, the main setting for the book. I hold a Master of Communications specialising in Professional Writing and work as a content strategist and UX consultant in between periods of creative writing.
Travel is my favourite activity. I am fortunate to have visited 31 countries so far, leaving most of the world to discover.
Since 2000 I have lived in the beautiful city of Melbourne, Australia, with my partner. I would describe myself as a first-class gardener and cat cuddler and a second-class cook.
